Olmec precious green stone human figure. The detail is perfect and the features on the figure are awesome. There are probably many more like this but might still be under ground or in a private collection somewhere.
This figure is funny and shows movement and a realistic siting position. Eyes are slanted and hands are detailed. Could be an important shaman or chef.

Sounds like aliens to me. Why can't we just give them credit? Have you found it interesting, as I have, that in Mexico, people are very racist. The more indigenous one looks the more one is looked down on. For example there is a similar word used in Mexico to that of the "N" word; That word is Indio. A connotation to this word is the meaning of ignorant.
I found the fact that there are so unexplainable events surrounding Mesoamerica very interesting. Including the fact that they may have been in contact with the Incas in South America.
great point mauricio-- I forgot to discuss how quite naturally, lif ewa snot all well an dgood in each civilziation we have looked at ad racism/discrimination was quite blatant.
bell hooks used to always say that there were always "faces at the bottom of teh well" which mean that every culture, every class, evry group needed to have someone inferior to them to feel better about themselves. It begs the question...as to whether discrimination is inherent in human nature?
