My baby was born 11/01/2008

Her name is Kalyse Marley Silva and she is my first.
I am really happy and really overwhelmed. Below are some pictures for your perusal.

I have been staying at the hospital and have not had access to the web till this morning. I have a lot to say about my experience and will post it soon.
take care, Jose Silva

WOW! She is absolutely beautiful. I remember delivering my first. I was excited that I would finally meet this little person who was a part of me for nine months, but in the midst of excitement was an overwhelming fear, will I be a good parent? I am sure that the lack of sleep will drive you into exhaustion but it will get better...you will get more sleep. Cherish those moments when you are at home laying on the couch while holding her. Time passes quickly and they grow so fast. This year my daughter began kindergarten. I am expecting my second in March (I don't now the sex) and with a five year eight month age cap between my daughter and this child I am feeling the excitement and fear all over again. Just remember to take it easy or if you can't take it easy then go as easy as you can.

Thank you everyone. She is a gift from God and I don't know what to do but protect her and comfort her. Your positive energy really helps and I appreciate all your "congratulations".
Your extra encouragement will get me past my inadequate feelings. I wish I could spend all day with her like her mother but papa has to work and keep the roof over our heads. I want the best for her and the only way to attempt this is to complete school and give her the most I can. Good luck to all of you and if you ever need anything concerning architecture or anything else please don't hesitate to ask.

take care,
Jose
